Chicken manure pellets, a.k.a., poultry manure pellets, are composted and processed chicken manure. Vegetable gardeners use pellets as a soil amendment that provides a potent source of natural nitrogen. If you are mixing up soil for a raised garden bed or container, you can add a little to your soil mix. All you need is five cups for every 10 square feet of growing space.
