USES

The leaves and seeds are used to alleviate fever, headache, rheumatism, inflammations, conjunctivitis, haemorrhoids, tumours, to treat ringworms, sores and abscesses.

The leaves, flowers and calyxes are used in heart and nerve conditions, as diuretic, sedative, anti-scorbutic, intestinal antiseptic and to stimulate lactation in breastfeeding women.
